My copy of the first edition of JAWS

Since we didn't have photos from this week, I thought I'd post some historical images of Sharksbite over the last four or five years.  Results at bottom.

 

 

The first ever organized race by the Sharksbite Road Runners (pre Racescapes Events even); The Super Bowl 5k.  Yeah, it was that cold.  Only one of the original members in this photo has run the new Thursday night run.  Can you guess which one?  Don't count me.

The Thursday night run is for all abilities and open to everyone (well, almost everyone).  Come out and enjoy the free timed run the free food and bottled water, the great give-aways, and all the nice people you'll meet.  The only requirement is that you bring or buy a beer for the Race Director at some point.

My old 1964 Dodge D100 (rare).  This was Gale Gordon's truck bought new in '64 and owned until his death.  Gale was "Mr. Mooney" on the I Love Lucy Show.

I bought it and had it shipped here from California.  I loved it, but would have to work three jobs to keep gas in it.

 

 

 

5 bonus points for every new person (must have a pulse) you bring to the run, 6 points if it's a girl (7 if she's single).
